(I just got your message actually after I wrote this. About the "problematic" files, all or most wav files are not working with altered speed on Vista. We first thought this is a VISTA problem. But we also found out some files are not wroking on windows 7 too. Thanks)

This is the one we used to test.
It works with 7 but not vista

It is a file which doesn't play BOTH with 7 and vista.

It is a file which plays with BOTH 7 and vista, but with vista the sound becomes very sqweeky.

We suspected first about it is a "bit rate" problem, after seeing this site.

It says high bit rate wav will not play on this speedratio property.

But it apparently isn't, because one with around 1400kbps works on windows7 but one with 300 kbps does not.

I understand you do not NEED anything from my programmer, however, could you please contact my programmer and tell him what you are trying to do?

My programmer and I have been working for this over a month, and we created really a good relationship. Also, after the software is needed for the future upgrading, we have already agreed that I would work with him.

Also, when I suggested to ask someone else for the solution to this problem, he requested that he could talk with the new programmer and I agreed.

So, I understand you do not need him to the solution, but if I could ask you a favor please contact him and have a chat?

He has already been working other programmers for the function for which he is not specialized, and there is a possibility of adding a bit more of a functions to what's already been there.

Of course I will be responsible for the final decision or financial part, however I am more comfortable if both of the programmers have a talk between them.
